Refund & Cancellation Policy

Eightfold Inc is the parent company that processes payments on behalf of its family of brands. This policy outlines our general refund and cancellation terms. Individual brands may have additional terms specific to their services, which will be communicated at the time of booking or purchase.

Photography Session Retainers

• Retainers are non-refundable. The retainer compensates the photographer for holding the date exclusively for you, turning away other potential bookings for that time.
• Rescheduling is available. If you need to change your session date, we are happy to reschedule based on the photographer’s availability. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
• No-shows. If you do not appear for your scheduled session and have not contacted us to reschedule, the retainer is forfeited.

Weather and Outdoor Sessions

For outdoor photography sessions, if weather conditions make the session impractical, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.

Photographer Cancellation

In the rare event that we must cancel a session, you will receive a full refund of your retainer or the option to reschedule at your convenience.

Print and Product Orders

• Print and product orders are processed and fulfilled by third-party labs. Once an order has been submitted for production, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• If a product arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
• Color variations between screen displays and printed products are inherent to the printing process and are not considered defects.

Digital Deliverables

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital images, galleries, and downloads are final. Once digital files have been delivered or made available for download, they are not eligible for refund.

Subscription and App Services

• No refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel, you will continue to have access to the service until the end of your current billing cycle. No prorated refunds are issued for unused time.
• How to cancel. You can cancel your subscription through your account settings or by contacting us directly. Cancellation requests are processed within one business day.
• Free trials. If a service offers a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel during the trial at no cost.

Marketing and Web Design Services

For marketing, web design, and consulting services:

• Refund eligibility depends on the scope of work completed at the time of the cancellation request
• Work already completed and delivered is not eligible for refund
• Ongoing retainer arrangements can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice
• Specific refund terms will be outlined in your service agreement or statement of work

Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or credit card company. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly. In many cases, we can address your concern faster than the chargeback process.

Initiating a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of services.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or discuss a billing concern, please contact us with:

• Your name and the email address associated with the transaction
• The date and amount of the charge
• The brand or service the charge relates to
• A brief description of your request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
